Mary Catherine Masse Cisco 88, died peacefully in the Lord June 18 in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Leo J. and Anna Testin Masse. Mary attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School and St. Mary Academy. She worked for the US government during World War II and as a file clerk and secretary at Jefferson National, Hibben Hollweg and Renner's Express before retiring. Mary was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and served several terms as treasurer of the Ladies' Altar Society. During her final illness she showed her deep faith through her kindness and gratitude for all who cared for her at St. Vincent Hospice and St. Paul Hermitage. Her parents, her sister Margaret Renner, and her husband, Donald D. Cisco, preceded her into eternal life. Survivors include her sons, Fr. Bede Cisco, OSB, Indianapolis, and Leo J. Cisco, Romeoville, IL, and his wife, Judith, and their children, whom she treasured, Christopher, David, and Steffanie. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Hermitage, 501 N. 17th Ave., Beech Grove, and from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Drexel Chapel, 4565 E. 10th St., with prayer services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22 prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Drexel Chapel, with Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Hermitage or Saint Meinrad Archabbey.
