Pay Rate: $25-35/hour
Duration: 1+ month contract-to-hire
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAS Programmer to work for our client located here in Birmingham. If you are a skilled SAS Programmer seeking a new opportunity, we welcome the chance to speak with you! We are unable to provide any type of visa sponsorship for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Complete database design, construction and maintenance
• Write, execute & document computer programs to produce output; write out data in datasets, Excel, and other text formats
• Use your analytic mindset and the ability to look at information from a subject matter point of view
• Create and run ad hoc reports as requested
• Run monthly reports and verify accuracy of data
• Perform SAS programming using SAS flat files, text files, and Excel Files as input

Below are the required skills for this position:

• Experience in a Windows PC based SAS programming environment is key; someone that can write SAS code
• Our client needs someone that is very flexible as far as being able to be called on to do various tasks (i.e. team player)

Experience with SAS Data Step is a plus
